How does it work?

These are the basic steps.

  1. REVIEW - The process starts with you reaching out via contact page form or by directly sending your email to us. In your message you are expected to describe your energy needs, project, where possible budget and coordinates to location of interest. Once we know the energy needs, location, and land purpose we will make a quick review and get back at you with an overall proposition that will fit your budget or with a cost assessment if you do not have already prepared budget.
  2. DEVELOPMENT- If you accept the initial proposition, we start developing the project in details. When finished, the project once more goes to your final approval.
  3. BUILDING - The finished project approved by you is then put into realization. We build, install and put into operation the power generation system according to agreed project.
  4. OPERATION - The system is operated by Antarctica Enterprise. You get to enjoy EaaS.

EXAMPLES

 The most common cases.

Building integrated power system

London, UK (avg. price until 2042: 0.5 GBP/kWh)
Hybrid installation, combines wind and solar components. Installation is owned by customer. Investment: One time CAPEX + monthly OPEX
WIND component: 3x5, VETAR 15 (15kW)
Power installed: 285kW (225kw wind + 60kW solar)
Average wind velocity: 6.25 m/s; wind Weibull k: 2.41
Solar insolation: 125 W/m2;
Annual production: Wind 340 MWh; Solar 44 MWh;
TOTAL: 384 MWh
System total cost: 1.504.304 GBP
EaaS (LCOE): 0.2 GBP/kWh with ROI time 7.76 years.
Min Operation: 20 years
CLIENT'S PROFIT: 2.371.263 GBP

Customer makes a profit by saving in price difference between project EaaS (LCOE) and an average projected electricity price in the next 20 years. Furthermore, having the power plant installed within its property the stability of electric power supplies is greatly improved, establishing high level of self-sufficiency.
Additional savings can be made trough various incentives offered to green energy producers.

Marine Energy Conveyor system

Offshore UK (avg. price until 2042: 0.5 GBP/kWh)
Hybrid installation, combines wind and solar components. Installation is owned by Antarctica Enterprise LTD. PA monthly price.
WIND component: 5x5, VETAR 15 (15kW)
Power installed: 630kW (375kw wind + 255kW solar)
Power storage: 13 MWh
Average wind velocity: 10 m/s; wind Weibull k: 6
Solar insolation: 100 W/m2;
Annual production: Wind 2271 MWh; Solar 173 MWh;
TOTAL: 2444 MWh
PA price: 0.3 GBP/kWh
Min Operation: 20 years
CLIENT'S PROFIT: 10.020.400 GBP

Customer makes a profit by saving in price difference between project EaaS prices and an average projected electricity price in the next 20 years. Energy is delivered via port electric terminal at customer premises or remotely via electric grid. Further benefits are supply stability and price inflation protection. Additional savings can be made trough green energy origin certificates.

Mobile EV charging system

Inter-city, UK (avg. price until 2042: 0.5 GBP/kWh+0.3 GBP/kWh service fee)
Hybrid installation, combines wind, solar, power storage and EV charger components. Installation owned by Antarctica Enterprise LTD.
WIND component: 5x5, VETAR 4 (5kW)
Power installed: 35kW (25kw wind + 10kW solar)
Power storage: 1000 kWh
EV charger: 300 kW
Average wind velocity: 5.75 m/s; wind Weibull k: 1.5
Solar insolation: 125 W/m2;
Annual production: Wind 34 MWh; Solar 8 MWh;
TOTAL: 42 MWh
EaaS price: 0.3 GBP/kWh + 0.2 GBP/kWh service fee.
Min Operation: 20 years
CLIENT'S PROFIT: 251.000 GBP

Customer benefits trough improved Electric Vehicle charging service. Multiple mobile units are solving range anxiety issues. Additionally, customer benefits from the lower EaaS price and long-term price stability. Additional savings can be made trough green energy origin certificates.

Frequently asked questions

For additional explanations.

This depends on the nature of the project, customer aspirations and the business approach of Antarctica for that specific project. If Antarctica Enterprise assess that customer will have a larger benefit as an owner of an infrastructure, we will propose to develop the project where the customer will be the owner of the power generation infrastructure.

Antarctica Enterprise operates the power plant whoever owns it. In this way, we ensure the quality of operation and delivery of EaaS.

You don't to pay for the electricity in the next 20-30 years. The LCOE are often significantly lower than any electricity plan you would buy from an energy distributor. Capital expenses for building the PGS are deducted from the income tax. You will own all the energy produced. From a long-term perspective, this is, often, the most profitable option for a customer.

You don't need to invest capital in building the power generation system. You pay EaaS monthly as you would any other utility bill.

If you live, or operate your business, in areas with strong winds, abundant sun, near the seashore, close to the fast-moving river or geothermal springs, then you are a good candidate for EaaS. The profitability, as well as the quantity of energy produced, are directly related to local, renewable, energy resources. You should take into consideration current price of energy, expected price rise, and supply instability.
If you already have, or expect higher energy prices, than even below-average, renewable energy resources can be beneficial enough to introduce EaaS by Antarctica Enterprise.

You can start by sending us your energy needs and location data at our contact page here.
